Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of Temp -- Document Scanner. This position operates document-imaging equipment to create electronic files and archives.

$25/hr. - 30 hours per week

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties assigned as necessary.

  • Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, verifies quality of digital images and stores images according to organizational guidelines.

Requirements/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation required. Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen. This position is a temporary, two-month assignment. EOE
