The Document Control Lead plays a key role in how project information flows from design through construction. This role sets the standard for document control practices, partners closely with internal teams and external collaborators, and ensures teams always have the right information at the right time. It’s a highly visible role with real influence on project quality, compliance, and delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and govern document control standards, workflows, and guidelines across projects
  • Lead oversight of document management systems including Autodesk Forma (fka ACC), Procore, and SharePoint
  • Ensure accurate distribution, version control, audit trails, and archival of project documentation
  • Serve as the partner for document control issues and cross-company coordination
  • Train and support project teams while driving continuous improvement and automation
  • Leveraging AI in the development of more efficient Document Control workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in document control for construction, engineering, or capital projects
  • Advanced experience with document management platforms such as ACC, Procore, or SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and document lifecycles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead processes independently and collaborate across teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading or overseeing a document control function or team
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with document control systems
  • Experience supporting large, multi-phase, or critical construction programs
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or formal quality management systems
  • Strong training, mentoring, and partner communication skills

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$90,000.00 - $182,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
