Job Summary
The DME Sales Associate is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting durable medical equipment (DME) products to patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers. This role combines consultative sales, patient education, and relationship building to drive revenue while ensuring compliance and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients and referral sources on DME products (CPAP, oxygen, mobility aids, braces, etc.)
  • Generate new sales through outbound calls, referrals, and in-person outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, and discharge planners
  • Verify insurance coverage and explain patient financial responsibility
  • Coordinate with intake, billing, and delivery teams to ensure timely service
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM and patient management systems
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)
  • 1+ year of sales experience (DME, healthcare, or medical sales preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable discussing insurance and medical equipment with patients
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience
  • DME or healthcare sales

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
