Job description

DME Sales Representative – CPAP & Durable Medical Equipment | Maryland Territory

Marathon Medical | Outside Sales / Territory Sales | Maryland

Marathon Medical is a growing durable medical equipment (DME) company specializing in CPAP therapy and sleep apnea treatment. We partner with physician practices, sleep labs, and referral sources across Maryland to make sure patients get the equipment and support they need — and we're hiring a DME Sales Representative to grow that referral network throughout the state.

If you're an experienced outside sales rep, medical device sales rep, or DME sales professional looking for your next territory, this could be the right fit.

About This DME Sales Representative Role

You'll be out in the field most days, building relationships with physician offices, sleep centers, and other referral sources across your Maryland sales territory. This isn't a desk job — you're the face of Marathon Medical to the providers who refer patients to us, and your job is to make sure they keep choosing us for their CPAP and DME needs.

Responsibilities
  • Call on physician practices, sleep centers, and other referral sources to build and maintain relationships
  • Educate office staff and providers on our CPAP and DME product lines, ordering process, and patient experience
  • Track referral volume by account and identify opportunities for territory growth
  • Troubleshoot service issues with referring offices to keep relationships strong
  • Represent Marathon Medical at local conferences, lunch-and-learns, and community events
  • Report on territory activity and pipeline using our CRM
  • Partner with internal ordering, billing, and patient care teams to ensure a smooth experience from referral to setup
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in DME, medical device, pharmaceutical, or another healthcare-adjacent industry
  • A track record of building and maintaining referral relationships, not just closing one-off deals
  • Comfortable with a self-directed schedule and heavy local travel across Maryland
  • Strong communicator who can talk comfortably with physicians, office managers, and patients alike
  • Highly organized, able to manage a multi-account territory without anything falling through the cracks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required with equivalent sales experience
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary based on experience
  • Uncapped commission tied to referral volume and territory growth
  • Mileage and expense reimbursement
  • Health benefits, 401(k), and PTO

Apply today to join Marathon Medical as our next DME Sales Representative in Maryland.
