Job Overview
Komatsu is looking for a skilled machinisit in Gillettw, WY.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.
  • Interpret work orders, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Secure and fabricate necessary tools and materials following verbal or written instructions, samples or prints.
  • Utilize measuring equipment used in the industry such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge and other measuring equipment needed to complete work.
  • Communicate information clearly and directly co-workers and supervisory personnel both verbally and in writing.
  • Set up manual and CNC equipment with supervision.
  • Ability to operate lathes and drill presses.
  • Knowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.
  • Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED. Technical School Certificate or Degree Program in Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance or Controls.
  • Previous experience with CNC Machines preferrable but will accept Electronics Technician or Process Controls Technician Level of experience.
  • Computer skills, good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and abilities to prepare machine condition reports.
  • Work effectively within a Team and require limited supervision.
  • Must provide on own tools (primarily hand tools but will be provided a minimum tool list). Large hand and power tools are company provided.
  • Entrance testing to determine knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for the position.
  • Must be able to pass drug test and physical examination.
