Job description

SUMMARY-

Executive account Manager's main purpose is maximize revenue and profitability at assigned and target account(s) and develop new business and contacts within the organization. Executive account Manager is also responsible for carrying out THK Corporate, office, and individual goals. Executive Account Manager will make use of TAP and other training to accomplish his goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

Develop strategies to maximize sales and profitability at assigned and target Account.

Develop strong customer business relationships at assigned and target Account (including its contract manufactureres) and develop new ones.

Planning-sales calls, sales forecasts.

Face-to-face sale visits with customers at assigned and target Account.

Submit sales call reports, expense reports, vehicle mileage.

Understanding of AS400: SA-type screens, RO (received orders), PO (purchase orders).

Coordinate information between the Account, Sales Administration Reps, THK Engineering, and other team menbers supporting the Account.

Report to THK all competitive marketing information/strategies.

OMR (Objective Management Report) updating, Step Management

Submit RSS Stories and Application Examples

Support, participate, and attend Industry Tradeshows to maximize lead generation.

Generate and follow up on quotes.

Manage and follow up on customer leads.

Develop and execute a business plan in support of THK, office, and individual goals.

Manage customer inventory to maintain minimum levels.

Work with THK accounting and customer to keep payments current.

Actively contribute and participate in DM meetings

Make recommendations to Regional Mgmt for new markets, suggest new products.

Manage new project development coordinating with customer engineering and THK engineering

Submit Sales activity reports in Salesforce in timely fashion after sales meetings.

Plan and conduct THK product training seminars as needed for customer and distributor.

Manage and oversee the RMA process, ensure that RMA process is handled correctly and in a timely fashion, facilitate this process to keep it moving, follow the process to ensure resolution.

Work with Regional Management on strategies for increasing sales for the region, improving DM's abilities and ways of improving regional sales activties.

Other duties as assigned

Mechanical engineering principles, sales experience in related field, knowledge of linear motion principles.

Computer skills. Ability to use Salesfoce and AS400.

Excellent phone etiquette.

Make a correct decision under urgent situation.

Must have High level sales skill.

Good Communication skill with customer and within THK.

Undergraduate degree.

Preferably 5-10 years experience in related field managing a territory selling to OEM customers or selling to a major OEM customer.

Ability to be speak effectively in English. Ability to communicate(writing and reading) via email, letters, and agreements/contracts. Ability to make effective presentations to customers and internally at THK.

bility to interpret equations for sizing THK products by being familiar with calculations (life, safety factor, etc) and the effect of loads, speeds, and geometry.

Ability to manage one's time and prioritize muliple tasks.

Ability to understand customers needs and respond accordingly.

Ability to understand assigned tasks and complete them on time.
