About The Role

This role focuses on improving AI systems’ reasoning in acute and emergency care using high-quality, evidence-based clinical data. The work involves designing realistic emergency medicine scenarios, evaluating AI-generated outputs, and enhancing clinical reasoning across emergency care workflows.

Position: Emergency Medicine Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Engagement: Remnote Global | Part-time

Compensation: $130–$180/hour

Location: Remote (United States & Canada)

Role Responsibilities

  • Design clinically realistic emergency medicine scenarios including triage, undifferentiated complaints, resuscitation, procedural sedation, and disposition planning
  • Develop high-quality “gold standard” responses at attending-level depth and accuracy
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs using structured medical rubrics
  • Provide detailed written feedback to improve model reasoning and clinical accuracy
  • Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration discussions
  • Ensure outputs align with evidence-based emergency medicine practices and standards

Requirements

  • Attending physicians: Board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license
  • Resident physicians: Final year of residency (recent graduates must be board-eligible)
  • Fellows: Board-certified or board-eligible in primary specialty with an active medical license
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills in emergency medicine
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
