Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and team-oriented Dispatching Assistant to

support our transportation operations team. This position serves as a key point of

contact for brokers, members, and drivers, ensuring efficient communication and

smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced

environment, has strong customer service skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from brokers, members, and drivers using a VOIP phone
  • system.
  • Assist dispatchers with assigning and scheduling transportation trips.
  • Communicate trip updates and information accurately and professionally.
  • Monitor and respond to calls, messages, and dispatch requests in a timely
  • manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and update dispatch systems as needed.
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatch staff to resolve scheduling and operational
  • issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all callers and stakeholders.
  • Support daily administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
    Qualifications
  • ï‚· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • ï‚· Experience with Modivcare is a PLUS
  • ï‚· Experience with Wellryde application is a PLUS
  • ï‚· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • ï‚· Comfortable using computers, dispatch software, and VOIP phone systems.
  • ï‚· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • ï‚· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ï‚· Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • ï‚· Previous dispatching, transportation, call center, or customer service experience

However, it wasn't until he started servicing a VA Medical Center that he witnessed firsthand the need for more reliable and timely assisted transportation solutions. With Stephanie's experience of more than 10 years in the medical industry and an associate degree in Applied Science, the two realized the great opportunity for offering a more timely and reliable solution.
Unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, Marvel is committed to safely escorting you or your loved one from residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and modern wheelchair accessible vehicle. On arrival at your destination, trained staff will escort you to check-in.
