Summary / Primary Role:

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for leading daily dispatch operations, overseeing driver and fleet activities, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of shipments. This role provides operational leadership, supports regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement across dispatch functions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with transportation and logistics experience who can effectively manage teams, maintain compliance with DOT regulations, and deliver excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced transportation and logistics leader who can oversee dispatch operations, support driver performance, and maintain operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in supervising dispatch staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving overall transportation performance.

• Dispatch Operations & Fleet Coordination
o Oversee daily dispatch activities including scheduling, routing, load coverage, and freight movement.
o Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.

• Team Leadership & Driver Management
o Lead, coach, and develop dispatch staff and drivers to support high performance and accountability.
o Monitor driver compliance, Hours of Service (HOS), safety metrics, and service performance.

• Compliance, Reporting & Process Improvement
o Maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, including driver qualification files and audit-ready documentation.
o Analyze operational performance, identify process improvements, and support cost-effective transportation operations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or operations management required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing dispatch teams and driver operations
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, HOS requirements, and transportation safety standards
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS); Truckmate experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced operational environment
• Experience within freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations industries preferred

Compensation & Schedule Details:

Base Pay Range: $75,000/year -$80,000/year

Bonus Eligible: No

Commission Eligible: No

No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
