Job description

Summary:
The Housekeeping Dispatch Administrator will receive, process, and forward calls for service to appropriate departments. They will operate the radio, phone, and maintain communications with managers, associates, departments, and guests. They will enter calls received into a log, updates calls, and completion times of tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude toward guests and fellow associates at all times.
  • Operate telephone and two-way radio to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls and messages.
  • Dispatch calls to housekeeping staff for in-house guests and post maintenance work orders into Visual one to be dispatched by Guest Relations.
  • Perform duties of a general clerical nature as needed such as: recording information such as name, room number, articles to be replaced or repaired or services to be rendered.
  • Complete a Rollaway & Crib Report and forward it to Management daily.
  • Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
  • Ensure that all assigned guest calls or special requests are completed within 15 minutes and call guest to ensure satisfactory service.
  • To continually support and improve housekeeping services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates.
  • Report and record any maintenance opportunities to Management.
  • Complete a Wellness Check/Privacy Button report to Security and Housekeeping Management daily.
  • Perform any other duty/project as assigned, which may not be listed above but is necessary for the good of the department and the hotel.
  • Report lost & found.
  • Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.
  • Mandatory to work on Weekends
  • Hours: 6:00am- 2:30pm

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
