DISPATCHER / ADMIN

LOCATION: Bolingbrook

TYPE: Temp to Hire

REQUIREMENTS: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Drug Test / Bilingual - Spanish & English / Authorization to work in the United States

HOURS: Friday – Monday 7 am-5 pm (MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH SCHEDULE)

PAY: $19.00

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an established transportation company in Bolingbrook is seeking a DISPATCHER with the following skills:

  • Responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and resolving problems for drivers, contractors, and/or carriers.
  • Must have exceptional proactive communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to quickly resolve issues related to timely pick up and delivery of shipments.
  • Answering phone calls and making “pre-call” and “completion calls” to customers.
  • Documenting all activity, including drivers and teams in the field, along with any resolutions to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Responsible for promoting a professional workplace while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years Dispatcher / Admin experience
  • Prefer bilingual Spanish/English speaker
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • To ensure operational success, the candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including days shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts
