I. Resume du poste

Conduit en toute securite un camion lourd pour effectuer les taches assignees sur des tournees en rotation. Conduit en toute securite un vehicule commercial lourd dans divers environnements : residentiel, commercial et de construction.

II. Fonctions essentielles et responsabilites
 

Conduit le vehicule conformement aux exigences de l'Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) et du Department of Transportation (DOT), ainsi qu'a toutes les exigences locales, etatiques et federales et aux attentes de l'entreprise pour la flotte ; maintient un vehicule propre et securitaire.

Effectue les inspections avant et apres trajet du vehicule assigne en utilisant le DVIR standard (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) ; note tous les problemes sur le formulaire DVIR pour examen/reparation corrective.

Signale immediatement toute situation dangereuse ou tout appel de service au responsable de tournee ou au dispatch avant de tenter d'effectuer le service.

Participe et coopere a toutes les formations, reunions d'information et reunions prevues comme requis par le responsable de tournee.

Travaille en etroite collaboration avec les responsables de tournee pour ameliorer l'efficacite des itineraires et identifier les comptes problematiques ou dangereux.

Effectue toutes les taches selon le planning etabli par le responsable de tournee ou le dispatch, en aidant les autres conducteurs de l'entreprise selon les directives.

Informe le responsable de tournee de tout incident, accident, blessure ou dommage materiel.

Informe le dispatch ou le responsable de tournee des problemes conformement au protocole du Service Machine, y compris les conteneurs bloques, les ramassages potentiellement manques ou les problemes survenant sur la tournee.

Communique les demandes ou problemes des clients au dispatch ou au responsable de tournee.

Vide completement tous les conteneurs et laisse l'emplacement du client propre et exempt de debris.

Remplit et soumet les tickets clients lorsque des quantites excedentaires doivent etre enlevees.

Positionne les conteneurs sur la propriete du client de maniere a garantir que les couvercles soient correctement remis en place, que les conteneurs soient en position verticale et qu'ils ne bloquent pas les entrees de garage ou la circulation.

Suit les affectations de tournee tout au long de la journee et complete toute la documentation lors de l'enregistrement en fin de tournee.


III. Qualifications

A. Qualifications requises 
 

2 ans d'experience dans la conduite d'un vehicule necessitant un permis CDL, ou

experience militaire equivalente en conduite au cours des 7 dernieres annees et

Capacite a lire, ecrire et parler l'anglais suffisamment bien pour interagir avec le public, comprendre les panneaux de circulation, repondre aux questions officielles et remplir des dossiers ou rapports et

Doit avoir au moins 18 ans et

Etre legalement autorise a travailler dans le pays ou le poste est situe

Permis de conduire commercial (CDL) - Classe B obtenu a l'embauche


B. Qualifications souhaitees 
 

Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou GED (accredite)
