Drayage Logistics Coordinator - Standard Shift

Now we are seeking a Drayage Logistics Coordinator to join us. This is a standard shift position, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating shipments, communicating with carriers, and ensuring smooth container movements from port to door.

You’ll work closely with our operations, customer service, and carrier partners to manage drayage operations efficiently through Skypace’s digital platform, integrated with top ocean carriers and providing complete shipment visibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate drayage operations from port to warehouse/delivery points
  • Communicate with trucking partners, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely container pick-ups and deliveries
  • Monitor shipment statuses, resolve issues, and proactively update customers and internal teams
  • Manage documentation, including arrival notices, delivery orders, and proof of delivery
  • Support internal pricing and scheduling teams with rate confirmations and dispatch coordination
  • Track demurrage, detention, and accessorial charges to minimize costs
  • Use the Skypace platform to update shipment milestones and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in drayage, trucking, or container logistics
  • Understanding of port operations, container scheduling, and trucking dispatch
  • Organized, responsive, and able to multitask under pressure
  • Familiarity with EDI tracking tools, TMS platforms, or digital freight systems
  • Effective communication with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
