About the role, Your Impact

The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the organizations Project Management system and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of project data. This role supports Project Managers by monitoring project status, analyzing reports, identifying risks or issues, and following up to ensure required actions and data corrections are completed. The Project Management Coordinator plays a key role in improving project visibility, accountability, and overall project performance.

What your day will look like:

  • Maintain and manage the Project Management system, ensuring project records are accurate, current, and complete

  • Perform regular data verification and quality checks to ensure consistency across projects

  • Support system improvements, standardization, and best practices for project data entry and reporting

  • Pull and prepare regular and ad hoc project reports related to schedule, financials, scope, and client status

  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, inconsistencies, and potential issues

  • Validate project information related to budgets, forecasts, timelines, and deliverables

  • Review project status and performance metrics to identify problem areas or projects at risk

  • Communicate findings to Project Managers, clearly outlining:

    • Identified project or client issues

    • Data gaps or inaccuracies

    • Required follow-up actions or information needed

  • Track resolution of issues and follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed

  • Serve as a liaison between Project Managers, Finance, and management regarding project data and reporting

  • Provide guidance and support to Project Managers on project documentation, system usage, and reporting expectations

  • Assist with standardizing project tracking processes and documentation

Education/License Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Project Management

Must-haves, what you will bring

  • 1+ years of experience in a project management role, ideally within environments such construction or engineering.

  • Experience working with Project Management systems or ERP platforms

  • Prior experience supporting project-based teams or environments

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to analyze and report on project and financial data

  • Excellent communication and professional follow-up with managers

  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification (PMP or similar)

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $58,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
