PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE, SR. LEAD

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of specialized analytical, interviewing and administrative work generally performed in the patient accounting section which includes direct patient contact, collecting and posting of personal patient information to include referrals, payment and insurance data.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Considerable ability to deal tactfully, firmly and courteously with patients. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduation from High School supplemented by college courses in Business English, Business Math and accounting preferred. Associate Degree in Business or Accounting desired.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) or more years in customer service, sliding scale and FQHC registration with demonstrated self-motivation.
