Our service centers provide total car care, from oil changes to engine replacement, diagnostics, auto repair and scheduled maintenance. Position Summary

The Director of L&D serves as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on contributor, working closely with operations, HR, and field leadership to build a high‑performance culture through effective learning and development programs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and lead a company‑wide learning and development strategy that supports operational performance, growth, and employee development.
  • Design structured training programs for Franchise Leadership and operations development. Including safety, compliance and regulatory requirements,
  • Develop field & operational training programs for automotive technical skills and repair standards
  • Execute, rollout, and instruct training programs across field locations, leadership and technical staff.Work directly with field leadership to assess skill gaps and training needs
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate training effectiveness, technician proficiency, and leadership execution. Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness, ROI, and impact on performance. And continuously review and improve the training programs based on those metrics
  • Support change initiatives, new systems, and operational improvements through targeted training
  • Maintain up‑to‑date content reflecting changes in automotive technology, tools, processes, and regulations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align learning initiatives with strategic priorities.
  • Manage training budgets, resources, and vendor relationships as applicable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or organizational development
  • Strong experience in field‑based training environments, preferably in automotive, retail, manufacturing, or technical services
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, executive leadership and human resources.
  • Experience deploying blended learning solutions (in‑person, virtual, LMS‑based) preferred
  • Familiarity with automotive industry experience (repair, service, or operations) a plus
  • Tactical thinking with hands‑on execution
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills
  • Data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement mindset
