🚀 Hiring: Operations Manager

We are currently hiring an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at a manufacturing facility in Albion, Illinois.

This role will report to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for leading a large team while driving improvements across safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who can effectively manage people, resources, and operational performance in a fast-paced environment.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support a large manufacturing team in a demanding, time-sensitive environment.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture across the facility.
  • Partner with EH&S teams to implement and maintain safety standards.
  • Ensure operational activities are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with facility objectives.
  • Monitor demand and capacity to maintain appropriate labor levels.
  • Develop and implement systems to track and improve Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) performance.
  • Establish goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and development to direct reports.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with budget development and planning.
  • Support employee training, engagement, conflict resolution, and workforce coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.


🔹 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Production Manager, Plant Manager, or similar leadership role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems, including Lean, Six Sigma, IATF, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in automotive air/cabin air filter manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage resources, and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
