The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$142,900.00 - $214,300.00
Purpose Statement: The Senior Manager of Quality Operations will lead and enhance the quality management systems and operational excellence within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet stringent quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of quality across the organization.
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
  • Lead and drive quality excellence by partnering with various functional leads to ensure quality capability that meets or exceeds manufacturing requirements and standards in order to deliver quality products.
  • Guide engineers to respond effectively to customers' feedbacks or Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPAs) as well as follow up with quality metrics set in quality plan.
  • Provide technical leadership to site operations by establishing the technology roadmap and work closely with corporate and regional technical teams as it pertains to the quality development roadmap and improvements which achieve lower cost and higher manufacturing in return.
  • Lead operational product and process quality improvements using function-appropriate tools such as Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPAs) or audits.
  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Other Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact, influence and build consensus with internal and external teams.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent Plexus Corp. in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, especially executive management.

Physical Requirements:
  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
