We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Associate Operations Manager to support landscape and snow/ice operations while developing the foundational skills to lead people and projects at Ground Pros. This full-time, year-round position offers a unique, handsโ€‘on experience as part of our Associate Manager Program โ€” an 18 to 24โ€‘month development track founded in training, mentorship and leadership skills development.

This role reports directly to the Branch Manager โ€“ Naperville and will provide the successful candidate with a dynamic mix of technical, operational and leadership exposure across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and inspect job sites for compliance with quality standards and client expectations
  • Identify and address service inconsistencies, escalating issues to the Branch Manager or Account Manager as needed
Manage Resources
  • Assist in the allocation and deployment of crews, equipment and materials to client sites
  • Help maintain inventory and understand seasonal material procurement cycles
Drive Production Efficiency
  • Participate in the development of crew routes and participate in site engineering to improve service delivery efficiency and cost control
  • Learn to leverage technology, site maps and historical data to streamline operations
  • Support snow and ice management operations, including site readiness planning and field support during winter weather events
Build on Our Safety Culture
  • Engage in regular safety training including OSHA-10 and operations boot camps
  • Reinforce safe work practices and assist in hazard identification across job sites
Collaborate with Account Managers and Clients
  • Partner with Account Managers to understand client goals and property-specific expectations
  • Serve as a liaison between crews and Account Managers to communicate feedback and deliver service solutions
Build Team Leadership Skills
  • Learn how to lead field crews, provide feedback, and set performance expectations
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding and employee development activities
QualificationsRequirements - What is needed to succeed in this role:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in team leadership and operational excellence
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in-person and report Monday - Friday to our Naperville, IL location
  • Willingness to obtain state and industry certifications
