Northern Star Scouting offers an exciting opportunity for a youth development professional ready to take our career exploration program from great to exceptional! The Director of Exploration Programs leads a community-based initiative that helps young people discover career paths, build realworld skills, and connect with mentors in local industries. This role oversees program development, partner engagement, volunteer coordination, and longterm strategy to ensure that teens and young adults have meaningful, handson learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership - Design, manage, and grow experiential learning programs that introduce youth to a wide range of career fields.
  • Community Partnerships - Build and maintain relationships with businesses, schools, civic groups, and professionals who can provide mentorship and learning opportunities.
  • Volunteer Development - Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers who help deliver program activities.
