Job Description
ABM Performance Solutions (APS) is ABM's integrated platform delivering all services under one contract. APS maintains the built environment through self-performed services such as cleaning, energy, sustainability, safety, resiliency, power, mechanical, electrical, EV charging, parking, and engineering. This model improves operations, enhances reliability, and allows clients to focus on their core business.
The Senior Director of Operations (SDO) - APS Mobilization Support ensures new APS contracts are implemented in compliance with ABM standards and supports projects such as asset management, CMMS programs, and capital planning during mobilization and beyond.
The Senior Director of Operations - APS Mobilization Support reports to the VP of Ops Support (CX/OS) and works closely with the APS Platform Team and APS Portfolio Leads. This role is responsible for setting up and executing the APS service delivery model for new client contracts (from initial Sales / Opportunities through stabilization and ongoing operations) in collaboration with the Client Experience and Ops Support Program Manager.
Ability to Travel
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, as needed, for ongoing support for mobilization needs.
  • Manage Remote team members that travel as well.

Pay: $175,000 - $200,000

Responsibilities
  • Align with APS Platform Team, Portfolio Leads, and cross-functional teams (procurement, safety, finance) to ensure successful mobilization.
  • Lead implementation of APS standards and processes for new contracts.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives to achieve client outcomes, enhance experience, and meet financial objectives.
  • Partner with business development, pricing, and Deal Desk teams to support proposals and operational strategies.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for APS operations and develop improvement strategies.
  • Manage duties directly or through subordinate leaders and IG Operational Networks based on contract needs.

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience.
    • 10+ years in operations, business development, or leading sales/operations teams.
    • Experience managing relationships with top-tier U.S. or multi-national clients.
    • Technical & Industry Knowledge
      • Proficient with enterprise systems: Salesforce, CMMS, BAS/BMS, IWMS.
      • Familiarity with emerging technologies: IoT, VR, AI, Smart Buildings.
      • Skilled in CRM tools for growth tracking (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
      • Strong understanding of supplier relationship management and market dynamics.
