Job description

At Fello, we champion the rights of people with disabilities and invest in what matters most: real opportunities, strong relationships, and inclusive, equitable communities. We partner with people with disabilities to provide support services, develop inclusive housing, and create spaces where people feel genuinely connectedโ€”not just accommodated.

The Director of Knowledge Management is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and integrity of data, reporting, and research across Fello. This role leads the strategy, design, and execution of knowledge sharing systems organization-wide and ensures that knowledge is captured, organized, and accessible to improve decision-making, efficiency, and innovation. In partnership with the SVP of Administration & General Counsel and other leaders, the Director of Knowledge Management ensures accurate, timely, and actionable data is available to drive compliance efforts, monitor organizational performance, and support growth initiatives, program evaluations, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional critical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record of proposing and implementing multi-pronged solutions collaboratively in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. They possess the ability to work autonomously, running toward problems without being asked with a solutions-oriented approach. They have a demonstrated ability to build relationships that drive organizational changeโ€”including in situations involving indirect managementโ€”and experience working across cultural, geographic, and programmatic lines to align work and achieve goals. They possess the ability to remain flexible, calm under pressure, and adaptive as priorities shift, serving as a model and resource for employees. They have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage positive communication in difficult situations and provide candid and constructive feedback. Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerBI, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

This position is full-time, based in Linthicum, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday during Fello office hours and some evening and weekend hours based on organizational needs. This position is eligible for periodic telework.
