GTS Global Power Services Sales Director (M/F/D)

Fueling Your Passion

The GTS Global Power Services Sales Director drives global growth of power generation service offerings by developing lifecycle solutions aligned to customer needs and market opportunities. The role focuses on building and converting service opportunities across the Baker Hughes gas turbine fleet, with particular emphasis on data center and onsite power applications. Working closely with commercial, regional, and digital teams, the position shapes service strategies, enhances lifecycle value, and strengthens market competitiveness.

As a GTS Global Power Services Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the commercial strategy for power generation services worldwide, translating customer operating requirements into tailored service solutions
  • Building a robust pipeline of opportunities connected to upcoming power generation projects, ensuring early engagement before commercial operation date.
  • Helping shaping service models for data center power generation applications, across different customer profiles (prime end users vs packagers) and different operating models (primary baseload, bridge, peakers, backup power).
  • Identifying, developing, and converting service opportunities across the installed and future Baker Hughes fleet across all the applicable gas turbines technologies (Frame, NovaLT, aeroderivative)
  • Partnering with regional sales, key accounts, and commercial operations to define deal strategy, pricing approach, risk assessment and value proposition for service contracts.
  • Driving growth of power generation service offerings, including transactional services, long-term service agreements, upgrades and digital service solutions.
  • Developing market intelligence on the power generation services market, with particular focus on data centers and onsite generation trends.
  • Identify competitive dynamics and define strategies to defend and grow Baker Hughes service share.
  • Supporting internal alignment between Gas Technology Equipment and Gas Technology Services to maximize lifecycle value proposition on new power generation projects.
  • Supporting commercial campaigns that position Baker Hughes as a reliable lifecycle partner for mission-critical power generation applications.
  • Contributing to regional sales reviews, operating rhythms, and strategic growth plans with clear pipeline, risk, market insights.
  • Supporting handover from equipment sale to services, ensuring lifecycle engagement begins before commercial operation.
  • Partnering with digital sales & commercial team to integrate iCenter & Cordant solutions into service offerings where applicable.
  • Providing feedback to product leaders and service engineering on customer needs, recurring pain points, commercial gaps, and competitive positioning.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have a minimum of 10+ years of dedicated sales experience within the power generation, renewable energy or oil and gas.
  • Desired: Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Have ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Have established project management skills.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 90,400 To 124,300. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
