Job description

About Annie Aesthetic

Annie Aesthetic is one of the fastest-growing private equity platforms in medical aesthetics - a multi-brand, multi-site operating company spanning MedSpas and Functional Health clinics across the United States. We acquire best-in-class practices, integrate them into a high-performance operating model, and build them into durable, growing businesses.

We are hiring a Director of Operations to serve as a true business owner across our portfolio. The Director of Operations will have direct operational accountability for a subset of portfolio companies, drive cross-brand performance standards, and be a key partner on the Annie Aesthetic executive team as we scale.

This role is built for a high-caliber operator who is energized by complexity, hungry to own outcomes, and ready to run real businesses at scale. This role reports directly to the COO.

What You'll Own

Portfolio Performance & P&L Ownership

  • Own operational and financial performance across a defined set of portfolio companies, with accountability to revenue growth, margin management, and EBITDA outcomes
  • Set and track KPIs across clinic locations; build accountability rhythms with Clinic Managers and brand leadership
  • Partner with the Annie Aesthetic ELT and finance team on reporting, forecasting, and business performance review

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple clinic locations - in-person presence expected at key sites
  • Coach and develop Clinic Managers, elevating their ability to own their locations and their numbers
  • Build and maintain the meeting cadences, documentation systems, SOPs, and remote management infrastructure that allow the portfolio to scale without heroics

Strategy & Growth

  • Identify and execute growth levers across revenue, client experience, and operational efficiency - including service mix optimization, retention programs, and provider productivity
  • Develop cross-functional project plans and strategic frameworks in partnership with brand founders, Clinic Managers, and the Annie executive team
  • Evaluate and launch new service lines (including functional health) across the portfolio

Vendor & Compliance Management

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships including pharma/clinical suppliers, marketing partners, technology, and facilities across brands
  • Partner with the technology and data team to optimize EMR utilization (Zenoti) and clinical reporting across the portfolio
  • Ensure each clinic maintains full compliance with applicable business licenses, permits, and clinical standards across all operating states

Ideal Profile

We are looking for a driven, humble, and highly capable operator. The strongest candidates will bring:

  • 5+ years of operational experience - ideally in multi-site, M&A-integration, or high-growth environments
  • Demonstrated track record of owning outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with limited resources
  • Strong financial acumen - comfortable owning a P&L and translating numbers into operational decisions
  • Exceptional people leadership skills across all levels of an organization, including clinic-level staff and senior founders
  • Advanced Excel/data skills; EMR, CRM, or other multi-site technology experience is a plus
  • Comfortable traveling to clinic locations; mix of in-person site presence and remote team management is expected
  • Candidate should be based in the Western US for ease of travel to assigned clinics. Travis is expected roughly 50% of the time.
