Position Title: Laser Tracker Operator

Location: Auburn Hills

Shifts Needed: Day

Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p


Character of Position

As a Laser Tracker Operator, you will be responsible for applying of labor hours to applicable jobs being worked via the Labor Ticket entry process.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reading and understanding general job requirements as supplied in the QA job folder by the Lead Inspector
  • Execution of required Build support or QA function as dictated by the job lineup, TIR and quality plan
  • Population of the TIR (Tool Inspection Record) or equivalent customer provided document
  • Initiation of any tool tag as a resulting from the inspection activity (In Process or Non-conformance)
  • Assist Lead Inspectors, as necessary, with any customer buy-off effort
  • Responsible for maintaining Laser Tracker equipment utilized to perform job duties
  • Utilization of the Document and Data control procedure to initiate, maintain and complete all electronic inspection records
  • Conformance to all applicable QMS procedures and work instructions
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Intermediate use of MS Office programs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of GD&T / FT&A
  • Master blueprint reading skills

Experience

  • Verisurf software
  • 3 years tooling experience
  • 3 years QA experience

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
