A Day in the Life of a Laser Technician
  • Provide exceptional service to our clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, experience and productivity.
  • Perform job duties within the scope of practice under your issued licenses/certifications.
  • Work closely with the Mid-Level Providers as needed for client care.
  • May assist to train peers and new hires, to ensure Company standards
  • Maintain strict medical protocols for all laser services, regarding state regulation, HIPAA and all other regulatory compliance programs that are set for by the Company.
  • Maintain a professional neat appearance individually and adheres to approved dress code so ensure upscale atmosphere of the med spa.
  • Perform laser services that are not limited to but include; Laser Hair Removal. Photo-facials
  • Perform aesthetic services that are not limited to but include; derma-planning, SkinPen micro-needling with and without PRP, facials, chemical peels, and HydraFacial.
  • Perform body contouring services that are not limited to but include; CoolSculpting.
  • Provide a client centered customized plan to meet their skin care needs through performing services, selling products and treatments.
  • Perform full aesthetic consultations to meet all client's aesthetic short/long term goals.
  • Maintain an elite, clean and organized work/treatment areas throughout the location.
  • Assist with unpacking and storing orders acquired within locations appropriately and timely.
  • Assist with maintaining an appropriate inventory by communicating to management of inventory needs and inventory counts.
  • Ensure charting is accurate, timely, and completely performed to best depict all client appointments and experiences.
  • Attend continuing education as requested by Clinical Management to excel in various skillsets.
  • Attend and provide input at all team meetings organized by your direct supervisor and clinical management.
  • Ensure that client concerns are reported in a timely manner to the Senior Laser Technician, Manager, Mid-Level Provider and Operations Manager

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  • Laser Technician license issued by the Department of Licensing is required.
  • Medical Esthetician License issued by the State is required.
  • Be able to work weekends and have a flexible schedule is required.
  • Must possess a strong and extensive knowledge of laser, skin treatment procedures, esthetician practices and medical practice management.
  • Ability to self-promote and engage in company social media with relation to meeting social media guidelines and expectations.
  • Must understand patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation.
  • Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation.
  • Must have sound judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull-up 50 lbs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
