Senior Director, International Accounting
Compensation: up to $200,000
Location: Dallas/Fort-Worth Area - remote for candidates in the TX area, 25% travel internationally

CFS has partnered with a global company to help identify their new Senior Director, International Accounting. This person is responsible for overseeing accounting, reporting, and internal controls for operations across Latin America and Asia Pacific. This role ensures compliance with global accounting standards, drives process improvements, and supports strategic initiatives to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee international accounting operations across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for international entities.
  • Manage global consolidation and intercompany transactions.
  • Partner with Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams to optimize financial processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems and controls.
  • Lead external and internal audits for international operations.
  • Develop and implement global accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex accounting issues and new regulations.
  • Responsible for accuracy of international financial statements impacting global revenue.
  • Oversees accounting processes for multiple legal entities across diverse jurisdictions.
  • Implements operational plans and ensures compliance with corporate governance.
  • Operates with minimal supervision; expected to provide strategic leadership.
  • Develops new processes for global compliance and efficiency.
  • Resolves complex, ambiguous accounting challenges impacting multiple regions.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.

  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
