Job Description
Objective 1: Serve as a Business Analyst for Mission-Critical Solutions 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritize product requirements that align with INDOPACOM's mission objectives. 
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps that clearly articulate the vision, goals, and milestones for current and future initiatives. 
  • Balance competing priorities while ensuring delivery of high-impact features and capabilities. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior military leaders, translating their strategic vision into actionable technical requirements. 
 
Objective 2: Drive Collaborative Planning and Execution 
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative planning sessions to gather and prioritize mission needs. 
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure solutions meet operational goals and technical feasibility. 
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain alignment and focus. 
  • Monitor and communicate progress through well-defined metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams. 
 
Objective 3: Leverage Technical Knowledge to Support Data-Driven Solutions 
  • Provide insights and guidance on data pipelining and ensure alignment with the Advana War Data Platform (WDP) for mission-critical analytics. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements and ensure the feasibility of data-driven solutions. 
  • Advocate for the integration of advanced analytics and data workflows to optimize INDOPACOM operations. 
 
Objective 4: Foster Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across INDOPACOM and mission partners, ensuring alignment with mission priorities. 
  • Act as a liaison between senior military leaders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding. 
  • Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, driving shared ownership of program success. 
Education and Years of Experience
  • Military Experience: Direct military or military contracting experience, with a strong understanding of INDOPACOM operations. 
  • Product Ownership Expertise: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, including roadmap development, prioritization, and stakeholder management. 
Required Skills
  • Military Experience: Direct military or military contracting experience, with a strong understanding of INDOPACOM operations. 
  • Product Ownership Expertise: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, including roadmap development, prioritization, and stakeholder management. Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required. 
  • Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks, with a solid understanding of Scrum or SAFe practices. 
  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of data pipelines and/or the Advana War Data Platform (WDP). 
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with senior military leaders and technical teams alike. 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting INDOPACOM operations or working within the Pacific Command theater. 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in rapidly changing mission environments. 
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration platforms. 
  • Experience delivering AI products within Maven Smart Systems. 
  • Background in creating and maintaining detailed product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). 
Working Conditions
Onsite location is in a SCIF.
