Job Title: HVAC Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with strong thermal design expertise to support modular data center and telecom/industrial module projects. The ideal candidate will lead HVAC and ventilation system design activities and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead thermal, HVAC, and ventilation system design for modular infrastructure projects
  • Develop mechanical layouts, ductwork, cable management, and fire suppression designs
  • Perform thermal calculations and basic CFD analysis
  • Review and approve mechanical design submittals and drawings
  • Create and modify 2D/3D models using Autodesk tools (AutoCAD, Revit) or equivalent software
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure design integration

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in thermal/HVAC design engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent 3D modeling tools
  • Good understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, and thermal management
  • Experience with modular data centers, telecom, or industrial modules preferred
  • Ability to perform thermal calculations and support CFD-based evaluations
  • Strong mechanical design and problem-solving skills
