Job description

Hiring: Facilities Technician (HVAC)
Location: South San Francisco, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Type: W2 Contract
Industry: Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology
We are currently hiring for an experienced Facilities Technician (HVAC) to support facility operations and maintenance within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair AHUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and mechanical equipment
• Replace valves, gauges, sensors, motors, bearings, belts, and filters
• Support facility utility systems and ensure equipment reliability
• Coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and contractors
• Maintain maintenance records and support GMP compliance activities
 
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Facilities Maintenance experience
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Experience with AHUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, and building mechanical systems
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, semiconductor, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability
• Cleanroom HVAC, BMS/BAS, CMMS (Maximo/SAP PM/Blue Mountain), and GMP experience preferred
