Position Objective: The DMAC AI/ML Team seeking an experienced AI Integration Strategist to provide strategic support in developing and executing a federal agency’s artificial intelligence roadmap. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AI/ML technologies, emerging trends, and enterprise implementation strategies. They will have proven experience in translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies and clear stakeholder communications. This role requires strong analytical skills to assess AI market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and risk mitigation approaches, while collaborating cross-functionally to align AI initiatives with broader organizational objectives through a human-centered design lens that prioritizes user experience, ethical considerations, and meaningful human-AI interaction.   

The AI Integration Strategist will be responsible for conducting strategic research, developing frameworks for adoption of AI that emphasize human needs and values, supporting investment decisions, creating compelling communications materials for executive leadership and diverse audiences, and ensuring our AI strategy services remain innovative, responsible, and competitive in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support execution of enterprise AI/ML strategies and roadmaps aligned to organizational objectives, digital transformation goals, and federal agency priorities.   
  • Conduct strategic research and analysis on AI/ML technologies, market trends, competitive landscapes, and risk mitigation approaches to inform investment and implementation decisions.   
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies, frameworks, and communications.   
  • Design and implement human-centered AI adoption frameworks that prioritize user experience, ethical AI practices, organizational change management, and meaningful human-AI interaction.   
  • Create executive briefings, KPI frameworks, stakeholder engagement plans, and multi-channel communication strategies to measure adoption, demonstrate ROI, and drive successful AI initiative implementation. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field 
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic consulting or corporate strategy  
  • 2+ years of experience with AI/ML strategy, digital transformation, or healthcare technology implementation  
  • 2+ years of experience applying human-centered design to AI product development and change management  
  • 3+ years of experience developing KPI frameworks for AI initiatives, including ROI, adoption metrics, and value realization  
  • Experience with supporting C-suite executives in technology-driven organizations  
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, generative AI, automation platforms, and enterprise AI implementation methodologies  
  • Experience with developing executive briefings, stakeholder engagement plans, and change management communications  
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies and executive-level presentations  
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, solve complex problems, and adapt to emerging AI/ML trends  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced coursework or certifications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or emerging technologies  
  • Experience with supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives  
  • Experience with strategic partnerships, alliance management, or joint venture development  
  • Experience collaborating with technology companies, academic institutions, or international organizations  
  • Possession of formal training or certification in organizational change management methodologies
