Job Description
Our client is looking for a Regional Director and General Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to fully oversee the regional launch and growth of our disruptive apartment hunting service in the Washington, DC area.
This position is available immediately and presents the right candidate with a tremendous opportunity to spearhead the roll-out and growth of our business in the DC region.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, versatile manager with a background in real estate or experience managing a sophisticated sales and rental office. A familiarity with the local Washington, DC neighborhoods and leasing practices along with the proven ability to manage all aspects of a fast-paced operation is necessary.
This position will also ensure business growth through managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
  • Recruit, train and motivate a superstar data entry team. We are experiencing very rapid growth so there is a need to build a great staff quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our back office technology which includes the building and maintaining of our local database of several hundred thousand properties.
  • Provide customer service to our broker clients.
  • Proactively manage all hourly wage employees.
  • Manage relationships with the property managers and private owners listed in the Rental Beast Database.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your local market and its current Real Estate news. Be able to identify what traits make it unique so as to best position Rental Beast best within it.
  • Establish yourself as the local face of Rental Beast by becoming active in local Real Estate associations
  • Identify and build relationships with property managers and owners not yet listed with Rental Beast.
  • Reach out to small, medium and large size real estate owners and managers and pitch the Rental Beast relationship.
  • Track and achieve daily, monthly and annual goals in terms of number of listings acquired and the level of accuracy and "freshness" our database needs to maintain.

Background in real estate or experience managing a sales and rental office.
