Job description

Admissions Records Specialist

This position provides administrative and clerical support to the undergraduate application processing area of the Office of Admissions. This position is responsible for processing undergraduate admission applications, creating computer files, maintaining files, determining residency status for tuition fee purposes, cross-training job responsibilities with other undergraduate admissions processing personnel, scanning and indexing documents, and determining academic actions. This position also involves maintaining Banner admission tables, generating admission reports, and other duties as assigned. This position requires a thorough knowledge of UNA's admission policies and academic actions. This position communicates verbally and in writing with students, parents, coworkers, and other institution and community representatives on a daily basis. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Minimum requirements include: a high school diploma/equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred; CIS/CS background is preferred; higher education work experience is preferred; and Ellucian Banner, Slate, and ARGOS experience, preferred.
