Job description

Job Summary
Premier Fence, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Custom Wood & PVC Fabricator to join our production team. This role is responsible for fabricating custom wood and/or PVC products, including but not limited to fence panels, gates, posts, and other unique materials and components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment using a variety of hand and power tools. Premier Fence is a drug-free workplace that requires pre-employment screenings that include Marijuana.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and follow plans and blueprints to produce custom products within required tolerances and specifications.
  • Safely and effectively operate power saws, routers, and various hand and power tools.
  • Load, position, and adjust workpieces onto equipment or worktables.
  • Measure, mark, and inspect materials to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Manufacture panels and other materials through grinding, sanding, polishing, and finishing processes.
  • Verify the quality of finished products by visual inspection, templates, and precise measurements.
  • Build custom products using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Transfer finished products to designated work areas using appropriate moving devices.
  • Work collaboratively with team members; ask for assistance when needed and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in other shop areas as needed or as directed.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks.
  • Follow instructions provided by the Production Manager.
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Take responsibility for completing work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward personal, departmental, and company goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in wood or PVC product fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a high-dust environment and wear safety equipment, including masks, as required.
  • Ability to visually differentiate between colors and textures.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening that includes Marijuana.
