Job description

Build It Right. Raise the Standard. Become Elite.Fence Installer – Complete Fence | Sioux Falls Area

This isn’t just another outdoor job.
This is an opportunity to build a career.

Complete Fence is expanding, and we’re building a driven, high-performing team to match.

For over a decade, we’ve served Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities with one mission: do what we say, and do it exceptionally well.

We’re not just growing — we’re being recognized for it.

  • 2025 PRO Award Winner from the American Fence Association

That means our work doesn’t just stand out locally — it stands out nationally.

We’re building projects.
We’re building our team.
We’re building our community.
And we’re building leaders.

If you want to be part of a company that’s leveling up — this is your opportunity.

The Role: Fence Installer

This is a hands-on, high-output position.

You don’t just show up.
You produce.
You take ownership.

As a Fence Installer, you will work alongside a high-performing crew to install a variety of fence styles across residential and commercial projects.

You will:

  • Install numerous fence styles including wood, vinyl, chain link, ornamental, and specialty systems

  • Measure, cut, prep, and assemble materials with precision

  • Become the expert in all disciplines and installation methods

  • Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Maintain a clean and professional job site

  • Work with speed while protecting quality

  • Follow foreman direction while taking initiative to stay productive

Ownership is part of the job.

Installers are trusted with responsibility.

That includes:

  • Driving the work truck when assigned

  • Owning truck and tool organization/management

  • Job readiness and quality execution

  • Maintaining cleanliness and professionalism on-site and in equipment

We don’t operate out of chaos.
We operate with discipline.

If something is assigned to you - you get to own it.

Who Thrives Here?

You need to be driven.

You thrive here if you are:

  • Driven to improve

  • Coachable and willing to learn

  • Hungry to win

  • Reliable and accountable

  • Detail-oriented

  • Organized and disciplined

  • Tough-minded with a positive attitude

You don’t cut corners — you build it right.
You don’t wait to be told — you stay productive.
You don’t blame others — you take ownership.

Fence experience is a plus, but not required.
Welding experience is also a plus.

We will train the right person — but we can’t train drive.

Growth & Advancement

We are growing — intentionally.

That means:

  • Paid training and skill development

  • The opportunity to become highly skilled across multiple systems

  • Internal advancement opportunities

  • A clear path to Lead Installer and Foreman roles

We’re not building average crews.
We’re building a performance culture.

If you prove you can learn, perform, and take ownership — there is room to grow with us.

Compensation

$24-$30+ based on experience.

We reward effort.
We reward attitude.
We reward people who own their role and deliver results.

What You Get

Weekends & Holidays Off (Family is a priority)
4-Day Work Week (40–50 hours)
Overtime Available
Paid Training
Health Insurance
Year-Round Work

Work hard. Win as a team. Be home for what matters.

Physical & Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
Comfortable standing, walking, climbing, kneeling throughout the day
Strong physical stamina
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Why Complete Fence?
