Job description

What success looks like in this role:

Provides Cybersecurity leadership and oversight, driving strategic engagement and understanding of the importance of security for all aspects of business for Unisys and its clients. Defines Cybersecurity strategy, policies and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance, development and implementation of a comprehensive security architecture and effective incident monitoring and mediation. Ensures development and maintenance of a strong security roadmap to protect platforms and ensure security.


Oversees Cybersecurity engagement, support and processes enterprise-wide.
Defines, develops and manages a comprehensive communication and reporting framework for Cybersecurity GRC, initiatives, processes, threats and remediation.
Engages with Unisys business leaders to ensure understanding and support of Cybersecurity strategy, priorities and initiatives.
Engages with cross-functional leaders and teams to establish strategic goals for improving the company's security architecture and overall risk posture.
Oversees effective roadmap development and governance for global initiatives related to Cybersecurity awareness, policy development, vulnerability management and overall process improvement.
Monitors the external environment to understand emerging Cybersecurity risks, regulatory changes and the evolution of security management across industry.
Keeps up to date with information security state-of-the-art to ensure Unisys systems and technologies adapt and apply best practices on an ongoing basis.
Plans and oversees enterprise security architecture in consultation with senior technical and operational leadership.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or enterprise technology experience.

  • 6+ years of leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Deep expertise supporting legacy enterprise computing environments, including ClearPath, mainframe, or similar infrastructure platforms.

  • Strong understanding of legacy application environments and associated security implications, including COBOL-based systems; Fortran experience is a plus.

  • Experience with IBM Z, IBM iSeries, or comparable enterprise computing environments strongly preferred.

  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional partnership skills.

  • Experience working within regulated industries is a plus
