JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Alliances will lead strategic initiatives across the Doctor Alliances (e.g., Vision Source, PERC, Opti-Port, IDOC, PECAA) to drive EssilorLuxottica business growth, enhance brand presence, and foster customer relationships. This role is responsible for overseeing the marketing team, developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, and ensuring alignment with EssilorLuxottica's business goals. The Director will work closely with the Doctor Alliances management team to identify market opportunities, design and implement sales and marketing initiatives, and ensure successful activation of events, campaigns and products. The role requires deep industry knowledge, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and strong leadership skills.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Doctor Alliance programs, including annual business planning, growth strategies, member engagement initiatives, commercial objectives, and partnership renewal plans.
  • Serve as the business, strategy, and marketing leader for assigned Alliance groups, building executive relationships, leading joint business planning, and identifying opportunities to drive growth and strengthen partnerships.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop customer-centric business strategies informed by customer insights, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop and execute integrated commercial strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, product adoption, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Lead customer engagement, segmentation, and value proposition strategies that increase Alliance participation, strengthen relationships, and improve commercial performance through ongoing market insight gathering.
  • Lead integrated marketing and commercial activation strategies, including product launches, promotional campaigns, customer communications, education programs, and the development of compliant sales enablement, training, and marketing materials.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across multiple business functions to successfully execute strategic initiatives, operating plans, pricing strategies, and commercial programs.
  • Direct the strategy, planning, and execution of Alliance meetings, conferences, trade shows, executive summits, and customer events while representing the organization.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team by establishing priorities, driving accountability, managing performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executives by delivering business reviews, financial and performance analysis, growth recommendations, budgeting and forecasting, governance, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive business results and maximize return on investment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic alliances, commercial programs, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage strategic partnerships and vendor relationships to drive business growth.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and lead complex cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in ophthalmic industry.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
