Senior Conference Services Manager


This leadership role oversees the full lifecycle of group and event business, serving as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations. You’ll ensure seamless execution from contract handoff through event completion while delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.


You’ll build and maintain key client relationships, lead event planning and execution across departments, and play a central role in driving revenue through group business opportunities. This role also manages and develops a Conference Services team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary client contact from turnover through event completion
  • Oversee all event logistics including rooms, meeting space, food & beverage, and special requirements
  • Lead planning and execution of detailed event documentation and on-site coordination
  • Negotiate contract adjustments and identify revenue opportunities
  • Ensure accurate billing and contractual compliance
  • Partner with Sales, Catering, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Conference Services team


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of meeting, conference, or event management experience in hospitality
  • Leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume environment
  • Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with complex events preferred; CMP a plus
