Overview for the Marketing Director - Community & Brand Engagement
Hospitality Health ER is seeking a creative, energetic, and relationship-driven Marketing Director to support community engagement, patient experience initiatives, and brand visibility throughout the Galveston market.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing ideas to life, and understands that marketing is more than social media - it's creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences.
The Marketing Director will lead local outreach efforts, coordinate events and partnerships, support strategic marketing initiatives, and help ensure the Hospitality Health brand is consistently represented with professionalism, creativity, and heart.

What You'll Do
Community Engagement & Brand Visibility
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, chambers, organizations, and community partners
  • Coordinate outreach opportunities, sponsorships, networking events, and brand visibility initiatives
  • Represent Hospitality Health ER at community events, vendor fairs, and local functions
  • Support creative strategies that strengthen community presence and patient engagement

Marketing & Event Execution
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events
  • Assist with branded materials, vendor coordination, signage, giveaways, and event logistics
  • Maintain event calendars, timelines, and project tracking
  • Help ensure projects are completed timely and aligned with brand standards
  • Support social media and content initiatives as directed

Creative & Operational Support
  • Support daily initiatives and special projects for leadership
  • Assist with brainstorming and implementing creative patient experience ideas
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and marketing-related administrative tasks
  • Maintain contact lists, outreach databases, and marketing inventories
  • Work cross-functionally with operational leadership and facility teams
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of marketing, community engagement, event coordination, hospitality, healthcare, or related experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • Must reside in Galveston or surrounding area
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with creativity, initiative, and follow-through
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email platforms, and general business technology

  • Hospitality or customer experience background
  • Event planning experience
  • Graphic design or social media experience
  • RNs or clinical professionals interested in transitioning into a community-facing leadership role are encouraged to apply

Schedule & Physical Requirements
  • Flexible schedule required, including occasional evenings and weekends for events and community functions
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel between facilities/events as needed
