Job description

Position Summary

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain strategy for SRC Heavy Duty, ensuring the business delivers industry-leading customer service, operational efficiency, inventory performance, and cost competitiveness across OEM and aftermarket channels.


This role drives alignment between commercial strategy, operations, sourcing, production planning, and inventory management to support profitable growth and long-term platform sustainability. The Director will lead initiatives focused on supply continuity, margin improvement, working capital optimization, systems development, and scalable operational processes across remanufactured, new, core, and service parts portfolios.


The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational execution and has the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing and remanufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all supply chain functions including purchasing, sourcing, production planning, scheduling, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and customer order fulfillment.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Improve inventory performance, working capital utilization, and overall supply chain responsiveness.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to drive margin improvement through sourcing strategies, inventory optimization, supplier development, and operational efficiency.
• Lead strategic supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supply continuity initiatives.
• Develop scalable supply chain processes and systems that improve visibility, execution, and decision-making.
• Support long-range planning through capacity modeling, risk management, strategic sourcing, and supplier diversification.
• Collaborate with OEM and aftermarket customers to align supply chain capabilities with business requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities for the Supply Chain organization.
• Monitor market trends, supplier conditions, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and lead a high-performing supply chain team built on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
• Experience leading purchasing, sourcing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, or related supply chain functions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to improve supply continuity, inventory performance, operational responsiveness, and customer service.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational decisions to financial performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
