Role: Senior Director, Clinical Quality Governance & Regulatory
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Salary: $194,700 - $251,900

 

Regulatory Compliance & Clinical Governance

  • Serve as the executive subject matter expert on healthcare quality regulations and compliance.
  • Interpret evolving healthcare legislation, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise executive leadership regarding long-term compliance strategies and organizational impacts.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, accreditation organizations, and healthcare partners.
  • Lead educational initiatives that promote regulatory awareness and compliance across the organization.
  • Identify barriers to compliance and recommend strategic policy improvements.

Performance Review & Education

  • Oversee enterprise quality performance review processes.
  • Establish organizational standards for utilization reviews and quality assessments.
  • Develop corrective action standards and performance improvement expectations.
  • Present quality performance results to executive leadership and external regulatory agencies.
  • Define training standards and educational programs supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
  • Minimum six (6) years of leadership experience managing direct reports.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience using databases, spreadsheets, or Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) tools.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a clinical setting, healthcare administration, or related healthcare field.

    Education Requirements

    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of healthcare quality assurance/improvement experience; OR
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare quality assurance/improvement experience; OR
    • Minimum thirteen (13) years of directly related healthcare quality assurance/improvement experience.

    Required Certifications & Licensure

    • Active Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
    • One of the following certifications must be obtained within 24 months of hire:
      • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS)
      • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
      • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)
