Director, Celebrity and Talent Relations Apply NowPosition

BVLGARI, the Contemporary Italian Designer of luxury jewels and watches, seeks a Director of Celebrity & Talent Relations.

The focus of this role is to increase brand desirability and awareness through critical relationships and placements within the celebrity, entertainment, and KOL/VIP community. In addition, it is critical for this role to identify and drive the celebrity strategy and execute the global brand partnerships strategy for the North American region. This position reports to the VP, Brand Marketing & Communications North America with a functional dotted lined into the Global Communications Celebrity team.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the on-going strategy of VIP/influencer in market
  • Manage celebrity / VIP / Influencer relationships, including communication, negotiation, styling, events, product management, and product placements
  • Liaise with the PR & Communications team to drive press coverage and outreach for celebrity placements ensuring the brand is accurately and frequently credited
  • Develop and nurture new and existing relationships with Celebrities, VIPs, Influencers, Stylists, Publicists, Agents, Assistants, Film Studios, Networks , developing strong brand partnerships and targeted results (such as placements, media coverage, brand representation, photo opportunities, paid social, etc)
  • Work cross functionally with Events, Media and Comms teams to identify celebrity and KOL strategies for brand initiaves, delivering results across all Marcomms
  • Drive organic placements with talent for the brand
  • Negotiate and secure local brand ambassador contracts for ongoing partnerships in the region
  • Identify and secure celebrity attendance at local and global events
  • Promote and represent brand at events and in all interactions
  • Manage VIP gifting programs and budget
  • Maintain strong product and brand knowledge
  • Remain current on industry trends, up-and-coming celebrities, influencers
  • Manage Celebrity Relations Coordinator to ensure sample trafficking for dressings and loans are always up to date

  • 10+ years of VIP relations management and press experience
  • Natural relationship builder
  • Established and well-connected to VIP and celebrity network
  • Can demonstrate strong relationships in the US and Canadian markets
