About This Role

The Director of Business Intelligence (BI) is responsible for leading the organization's data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence strategy. This role drives data-informed decision-making across network operations, customer experience, sales, marketing, finance, and product management. The Director oversees the BI team, data platforms, analytics initiatives, and executive reporting to improve operational efficiency, customer retention, revenue growth, and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the enterprise BI and analytics strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Partner with executive leadership to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and business priorities.

  • Lead BI transformation initiatives, including advanced analytics, AI, and predictive modeling.

  • Design and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting frameworks.

  • Deliver actionable insights related to:

    • Customer acquisition and retention

    • Churn analysis

    • Revenue growth and profitability

    • Network performance and reliability

    • Product adoption and usage

    • Sales effectiveness

  • Support pricing, market expansion, and competitive intelligence initiatives.

  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to maintain scalable data warehouses and reporting environments.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.

  • Establish standards for data definitions, reporting methodologies, and analytics processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data management, or related functions.

  • 5+ years in leadership or management roles.

  • Telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting executive-level decision making.

  • Advanced knowledge of:

    • SQL

    • Data warehousing

    • ETL processes

    • Data modeling

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
