Job description

A growing aerospace manufacturer is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and build its supply chain department from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on leader passionate about taking the next step in their career, driving supplier development, department strategy, and future team growth in a high‑impact role.

Director, Supply Chain & Procurement Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support company growth objectives
  • Build supplier relationships and lead supplier development initiatives
  • Manage all aspects of procurement, planning, inventory control, and logistics
  • Review MRP recommendations and support production priorities to ensure material availability
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to improve supplier performance and uphold standards
  • Drive supplier on‑time delivery and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts such as Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives
  • Oversee compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and relevant government regulations

  • Strong ERP/MRP experience
  • Solid understanding of Laboratory Sourcing Control (LCS) requirements
  • Demonstrated supplier management and negotiation experience
