Job Summary:
The Stockpile Truck Operator is responsible for safely transporting materials to and from designated stockpiles to support continuous and efficient Aggregate Production operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining material flow across the site while upholding BARD's safety, quality, and operational standards.
Job Description:
The Job: Aggregate Production - Portable Crushing Crew - Dubuque, IA
BARD Material's Aggregate Production team is seeking a Aggregate Production Operator who will be responsible for transporting materials to and from stockpiles.
You are:
  • An individual who enjoys operating and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Strive to maximize productivity
  • Able to visualize instructions

Responsibilities:
  • Operate dump truck to transport finished products from the plant to the proper area/stockpile(s) as directed
  • Maintain awareness of changing site conditions, traffic patterns, and safety hazards.
    Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity
  • Operate other mobile plant equipment as needed (ie. Loader) in accordance to specification without damage
  • Perform daily truck inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting an issues
  • Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Abide by MSHA regulations as specified in MSHA handbook
  • Listens to direction and follows instruction accordingly
  • Assist with additional site or production duties as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Serve as a BARD Brand Ambassador by maintaining professionalism and acting in accordance with all company core values

What you need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior haul truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred
  • Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products a plus
  • Ability to learn stockpile and plant flow
  • CDL License preferred.
