Job Description

The Director / Athletics Executive Operations provides high-level executive administrative coordination to the Vice President and Director of Athletics by managing daily operations of the Office of the Athletics Director, collaboration on strategic projects, coordinating executive schedules and priorities, facilitating communications, and ensuring a professional, responsive, and highly effective executive office. Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the Athletics Director while cultivating and stewarding critical relationships with university leadership, Board representatives, donors, coaches, staff, and external constituents, serving as a professional ambassador for the Office of the Athletics Director. This position reports directly to the Deputy AD, Chief of Staff.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management or related field with significant experience, or a master's degree.
Exceptional professionalism, judgment, and executive presence.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Ability to anticipate needs, and talent to proactively resolve issues and make quick decisions in a fast-paced executive environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive working relationships with executive leadership, university officials, Board representatives, donors, and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and executive scheduling systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a NCAA Division I athletic department or university setting.
