Job description

Summary of Purpose:Under minimal supervision, this role, internally referred to as Client Engineer III (Digital Platforms), is responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting intelligent business solutions, AI-powered agents, automations, and integrations across Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Teams and other digital workplace technologies. This role delivers innovative solutions that address business needs, contributes to the development of standards and best practices, and supports the implementation of new models and techniques. This role participates in technical design sessions, assists with system administration, and provides technical guidance to peers and junior team members, helping drive operational excellence and digital enablement across the enterprise. The role serves as a technical leader in leveraging Microsoft AI capabilities to improve productivity, automate business processes, and enable the workforce through governed use of AI, low code development, and digital workplace technologies.
Essential Functions
  • Designs, develops, deploys, and supports AI-powered agents, agentic workflows, applications, automations, integrations, and digital workplace solutions using Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and related technologies
  • Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, evaluate solution alternatives, and deliver technology-enabled business improvements that drive productivity, employee experience, and business outcomes
  • Provides subject matter expertise and technical guidance on AI adoption, agent development, governance, security, citizen development, and responsible use of Microsoft AI and digital workplace technologies
  • Establishes and promotes best practices for solution design, architecture, integrations, security, and platform administration; reviews citizen-developed solutions for compliance with organizational standards and governance requirements
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, training materials, communications, and enablement resources; supports implementation, adoption, change management, and ongoing user success
  • Evaluates emerging technologies, AI capabilities, low-code/no-code platforms, and automation solutions through research, prototyping, and proof-of-concept activities; recommends and implements innovative solutions that support organizational objectives
  • Collaborates across IT, business units, and external partners to drive digital enablement, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and related Microsoft AI and digital workplace technologies, including agent development, intelligent automation, integrations, platform administration, and enterprise governance.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft AI technologies, including Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, enterprise search, agent orchestration, prompt engineering, intelligent automation, and responsible AI practices.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of application design, architecture, and solution lifecycle practices, applying technical expertise to design, configure, and support scalable business solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, understandable, and influential manner to stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals, while mentoring team members
  • Demonstrates advanced planning, organizational, and time management skills, leading multiple projects, guiding team members, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a relevant specialty area
  • Microsoft AI or Copilot related certifications
    • Microsoft Applied Skills: Build an agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
    • Microsoft Applied Skills: Extend Microsoft Copilot

Experience
Required
  • Four or more years of professional work experience
  • Two or more years of experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting Microsoft AI solutions, Copilot studio agents, AI assistants, conversational experiences and intelligent workflow solutions within governed enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting AI adoption, user enablement, training, and change management for Microsoft Copilot and related AI capabilities.

Preferred
  • Five or more years of experience customizing or configuring M365/O365, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, and/or Copilot Studio
  • Five or more years of experience administering, configuring, and developing on the Microsoft platform, specifically with PowerApps and Power Automate
