Description
The Director, Digital Manufacturing Strategy is responsible for leading strategic operational transformation initiatives across Jasper Group's Scheduled-to-Shipped value stream. This role partners cross-functionally to define future-state operational processes, establish multi-year technology roadmaps, and implement intelligent systems capabilities that improve operational efficiency, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and decision-making. Combining operational process expertise, digital transformation leadership, and technology architecture to drive scalable, data-driven operations across the enterprise.
Requirements
1. Digital Operations Strategy
• Create vision for digital operations strategy from scheduling through shipping.
• Align transformation roadmap to build towards vision with supporting business priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure open communication and alignment on roadmap.
• Improve operational visibility and data-driven decision-making through intelligent systems.
2. MES Product Ownership
• Design process architecture across operation systems including JGMS and InAccord.
• Act as Product Owner of systems by prioritizing enhancements and grooming requirements.
• Define, refine, and automate future-state operational workflows.
• Partner with IT and development partners to translate operational needs into scalable systems.
3. Project Execution
• Lead transformation projects from initiation through value realization.
• Manage projects using waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Report weekly status of projects to leadership team with needs.
• Track value realization to ensure deliverables were met.
4. Success Measures
• Defined vision for operations systems.
• Executable 3-year roadmap with targeted improvements.
• Measurable improvement in at least one Key Performance Indicator in year 1.
• Adoption of systems by all operations leadership.
