Job description

Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. We Design, Optimize and Protect Brands. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. With our world headquarters located in Cincinnati, we have over 450 employees throughout the United States and offices in Europe and Asia.
The Digital Brand Strategist will help us elevate our existing digital business. You will keep your finger on the pulse of where and how digital brand engagement is happening. You will use that knowledge to help us set our digital strategy, develop and deliver our in-house brand and digital content, and support the execution of client work. In addition, you will use this industry knowledge and your personality to drive engagement with both new and existing clients to foster the growth of our digital business.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintains an understanding of the current digital landscape, including where and how consumers are connecting with brands
  • Facilitate new technology and product ideas to create engaging content across platforms
  • Collaborate with brand teams to develop digital shelf and content strategy
  • Partner with Chief Creative Officer and department leaders to align research and development activities
  • Execute research needed to facilitate innovation projects
  • Write copy and develop online communication strategy
  • Analyze and share content metrics with senior leadership
  • Participate in brand strategy and client meetings
  • Keeps a ‘finger-on-the-pulse’ of future digital activity by networking and/or researching
  • Support the development and maintenance of a capability roadmap to ensure OBF is always able to deliver creative content where engagement is happening
  • Act as the digital subject matter expert as we engage both new and existing clients
  • Support the delivery of client work utilizing your underlying skills (creative, strategy, client engagement, etc.)
Qualifications Include:
  • 10+ years’ experience with a degree in digital media and communications preferred
  • Digital innovation experience within 3D/CGI, AR/VR, Interactive AND BEYOND
  • Creative Agency and/or in-house brand experience encouraged
  • Strong written and oral communicator, engaging personality who can present well
  • Can build presentation in PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Familiarity with Apple and Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with brand strategy and design and how it is executed to pay homage to brand intent across both physical and digital touch points (may have a creative, client engagement/sales or strategy or other related background)
  • Creative, forward-thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
