Job description

WSBT has an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Lifestyle Production Assistant for our Home Town Living Show! 

Responsibilities include:

  • Write stories for daily shows and digital platforms
  • Conduct research on stories
  • Gather, write, edit and deliver Lifestyle content
  • Edit video news/web stories for all platforms
  • Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Operate Deko, Audio, or Camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
  • Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
  • Guest Services 
  • Prepare all fonts to air during a newscast
  • Studio and set preparation
  • Maintaining studio
  • Lighting
  • Tape Editing for newscasts
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
  • Training will be provided

General Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
