Position Description: 

Owns strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the digital banking platform and related services serving the Bank, its associations, and their customers. Leads cross-functional initiatives spanning product, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor management to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric digital banking solutions. Balances customer needs, business priorities, regulatory requirements, and platform performance to drive adoption, improve user experience, and support operational excellence across digital channels.

Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Own and drive the digital banking product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
  • Define and prioritize product initiatives based on customer insights, data, business goals, and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance user experience, expand functionality, and increase adoption across digital channels.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirements through development, testing, launch, and continuous optimization.
  • Partner with Information Technology, Business Systems, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as primary product owner for the digital banking platform and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage the digital banking vendor relationship including roadmap alignment, delivery, service levels, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with vendor teams to deliver enhancements on time and within scope.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset and continuously improve digital journeys and usability.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver training, documentation, and enablement for internal teams and customers.
  • Define and track product key performance indicators including adoption, engagement, transaction volume, and performance.
  • Use data and user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.
  • Deliver insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure all product initiatives align with regulatory requirements, security standards, and internal controls.
  • Partner with compliance, risk, and information security teams to embed controls into product design.
  • Oversee user access, entitlements, and system governance.
  • Monitor platform performance, system health, and transaction processing to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Drive efficiency and scalability across digital banking operations.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Six (6) to eight (8) or more years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or product management.
  • Proven experience owning product roadmaps and delivering technology-enabled solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, payments including ACH and wires, and financial systems.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and platform providers.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial services.
  • Strong product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience with agile or product development methodologies.
  • Ability to use data and performance analysis to support decision-making.

Preferred

  • Experience serving banks, associations, or commercial financial institutions through digital banking platforms.
  • Experience improving digital adoption, engagement, and customer experience outcomes.
  • Experience overseeing digital banking governance, user access, and operational controls.
  • Experience leading vendor-supported platform enhancements in regulated financial services environments.
